Girl Scout Patches

I really didn't realize how many patches and stuff Chasity has earned this year. BUT... I just got home from my mom's house (literally around the corner) and we spent a little more than an hour putting all Chasity's petals and patches on her Daisy Girl Scout Tunic! I am so excited to see her tunic so colorful now! She earned her entire Daisy for the front of her tunic. Then she earned 20-30 patches for the back of the tunic! WOW! That was all between October and May.....SEVEN months. Imagine what she'll do with 3 extra months next year! LOL I am excited about what Girl Scouts can do for her! She loves it! I just hope she continues to love it! Until next time........

Nothing to say....But everything on my mind

I haven't really had anything much to say lately. Actually, that's not true! I've had lots to say, but just haven't really wanted to take the time to say it. For example, I gained 5 lbs again! This time, I don't know how I did it! I just did! So now, I'm having to stress about that! Maybe I'm just supposed to stay this size until I get a job and can get more clothes! Clothes cost money....money I don't have until I get a job....a job I will hopefully have in August! So maybe I am going to shrink more after August! However...I am planning to continue trying NOW! Weight Watchers hasn't failed me; I've failed it! I'll get back on the wagon again! Girl Scouts are coming to an end soon. We still have a few more cookies to sale, but I think we might get those gone soon! Chasity has a few more things to do this year...then next year for the older Daisies, it will be easy patches. The NEW Daisies will have the harder ones to get! I ha...

Daisy Scouts

As you know, I am a Girl Scout leader. I work with Daisy Girl Scouts. All of the girls in my group are in Kindergarten or First Grade. The Kindergartners will be Daisies again next year, while the First Graders become Brownies. For the past month (or so), I have been working on the Investiture Ceremony for my Daisy scouts. All the girls had to do was show up basically. BUT... the cool part was that we had the ceremony at my church (our sponsorship) during the morning service yesterday. It was so cool. Because I had to be at the front, I didn't get to take any pictures. So...my kid sister took them...on HER camera. So...as soon as I get my pics from her, I'll put them on here so that you guys can see them. The girls looked so cute in their little outfits. They all matched! I couldn't believe how well it went. (Usually when I plan stuff, it doesn't turn out so well!) I hope to have the pics soon from Lisa. I'll have to ask her again! Until next time.........
