Getting Back to Normal

Dad finally came home from the hospital on Saturday.  He still has some recovering to do, but he's at home and feeling much better. Only a few more softball games until the season is over.  We play this weekend, and we have a game next weekend.  Then next Saturday afternoon the tournament starts.  So we could have as few as 3 games, but I guess we could have as many as 5 games left! :)  I guess we will see after Saturday! I only have about 6-7 weeks until GRADUATION!  I graduate on December 15th!  I'm excited!  We are supposed to close on the new house on November 12th!  I can't wait!  Tony has to decorate the outside for Christmas!  He said that if we got in before Thanksgiving that he would put lights outside for Christmas!  (He never thought we'd actually get in before Thanksgiving when he said it!  lol I'm so excited!) I have an idea for a book I am wanting to write.  I just need to get the approval of my family members before I start it.  I don't th

Crazy Week

Short update: 1. I lost 10 lbs. last week.  I'm watching my calories.  I'm feeling a little more energy. 2. Dad is back in the hospital.  It's not his heart this time! :)  However, he's very sick.  He has a fluid and infection in his left leg.  The MRI/CT (we aren't sure which they did....and they keep saying different things!)  showed that there is a LOT of swelling (edema) at his ankle and heel, knee, and hip.  He can barely stand up to walk to the bathroom. :(  HOWEVER.... I know God is in control.  Dad always says, "God's got a plan!"  I guess we just have to wait to see what it is.

My New Journey

Actually, I guess it's not new.  I have fought with my weight my entire life.  I was the "cute chubby" baby.  Then I was the "plump" girl all through school.  Who invented those stupid "Pretty Plus" clothes anyways? Now...however...I am the overweight adult.  I have tried (and succeeded) several times to lose weight. Unfortunately, the keeping it off is always my downfall.  I do really well....until I hit that plateau where I stop losing at a rapid rate.  Then I start getting aggravated.  I start "cheating".  Today, I am starting on a new "old" journey.  I am starting Herbalife today.  The last time I used Herbalife, I lost about 70 lbs. from January to June.  (Then came the plateau!) This time, I really need to lose a LOT!  I'd rather not post my actual weight on here right now.  So.... next week, I will just post how much I lost! :)  Then....  one day.... I will post my weight totals....  when I'm not this weight a
