The World According to Leslie

Over the past few weeks, we have been doing Gluten-free and Lactose-free for the Princess. She has been having stomach pain when she eats certain foods. Doctor tested for Celiac.  It's not that.  (Good news) Doctor sent her for allergy tests. We did those yesterday. Good news..... NO food allergies. Bad news... NO answer for what's causing pain!  Good news.... found out what else she's allergic to. Bad news.... Unfortunately, she's like me.... allergic to most everything else.  Just to name a few (cats, dogs, tree pollen, grasses--except 2, pollen, dust) Now.... we have to figure out the best option for working with (or treating) her allergies. We also have to wait to see what the doctor says is the next move for figuring out the food/stomach thing.  I'm NOT the world's most patient person.  So..... the waiting game is NO fun for me. Why is that when you go to the doctor (or just about anywhere) there is always good news and bad news....

Yesterday I posted some truths and lies about myself. Today, I'm going to tell you which are which. 1. True....As a Girl Scout Leader, I have to be a registered Girl Scout. When I was younger, I was a Brownie Girl Scout. Last year, I started a troop so that I could be my daughter's leader. Now, I have been a Girl Scout for two years of my adult life. It's fun! I have learned a lot of things in the past two years. 2. Lie...I do NOT love animals. I do NOT hate animals either, but I do not like animals. I have a saying (and please don't get mad) that the best kind of dog is on a bun with chilli! lol I'm allergic to anything with fur. I used to have a dog, but had to give it away because of my allergies. I had a rabbit too, but... yeah.... allergies! lol I do not like animals! PLUS.... I'm a TERRIFIED of dogs. I got bit once when I was eight! So, I have been afraid of dogs ever since! 3. True...I have several (a couple hundred) sets of salt-and-peppe...
