The World According to Leslie

So, I just thought I'd let everyone (if anyone actually reads this) know that I have deleted my poetry blog. I currently have this blog, a blog for my English assignments, and a Girl Scout troop blog. I'm hoping to be able to keep all of them up! :) Anyways... no more posting poetry for me... well... I can't really say that. I'll probably put some up here from time-to-time. Until next time........

I know I haven't really been great at keeping up with things, but.... I just updated my other blog-- Poetry by Leslie Jackson . Check it out! Also....Weight Watchers update. Ok...so weight update! For the past 3 weeks, I have stayed at 370. So this week, I was a little busy and didn't really keep up with what I was eating (but kept up with points, if that makes sense) and I gained 8 lbs. I'm back at 378. However, I knew I was going to gain weight, so that was NOT a surprise. I just have to do better THIS week! :) School....I am completely finished (waiting on final grade) in my EDUC class at UNCC. This week is my FINAL WEEK until August! Can you feel the excitement in the air? :) UNFORTUNATELY.... between now and Wednesday, I have two books to read. I also have to check out the other books that we read since the mid-term to refresh on characters! I have that final Wednesday night! In my other online class, I have a final exam, but I have the questions alread...

So it's been a WHILE since I updated my poetry blog, but I did it. I just put the last poem that I wrote for 1993 on there. It's called "Why Me?". I am almost to my 16th birthday in my poetry. In case you have never read any of my work, go check it out here !! Until next time........

For those of you who know me in real life, I love to write! I started writing when I was very young. When I was 15, I started compiling my poetry into a notebook. Somehow in the past 15 years, I have kept up with it. Yes, I have lost it probably 100 times, but I always manage to find it! Recently, I started a blog about poetry. I decided to use it to let out a little of my creativity. When I first started it, I had temporarily lost the notebook, BUT... I found it! The first few things on the site have nothing to do with my personal writing. They are just things I love to read. They are things I love to hear. They are some of my favorite poems!
