The World According to Leslie

Thanksgiving was wonderful. My siblings and our families all got together at my sister's house. Lisa and Joe had just come in the day before from their Cruise to Mexico, so they were a little tired, but they still cooked a great turkey! Donnie and I cooked/brough the other stuff to go with it! Mom and Dad came home on Saturday! Tony, Lisa, Joe, Chasity, and I all went to their house for pizza Saturday night! We stayed there WAY too late! lol Sunday, Dad had to run the sound at church because Joe was sick! :( BUT.... it was great! That's the first time Dad has done that since his wreck! I'm glad he's feeling some better. However, he's very tired from doing that yesterday. Today, however, is starting off a little rough. My mother has already called 3 times for me to bring the copy of the daycare bank deposit to the daycare. (I did!) So...tonight we went to the Open House for Chasity's school! WOW! The PTO stuff was absolutely fun! Then... Then, we found out who Chasity's teacher is. I have spoken to a few teachers over the summer, and I have opinions of a couple of them. I knew who I wanted her to have and I knew who I did NOT want her to have. So... So, we went to the lady with the list. Chasity said, "My name is Chasity..........Who is my teacher?" She found her name. She followed the line across the page. She said, "Chasity......... You have Ms. L." I was so excited! It was exactly who I wanted her to have! I squealed with excitement and jumped up and down while clapping. I know....it may sound stupid, but if you can get your kid in a class where you and the teacher speak the same "language", then it will work better. I had waited for 3 days to find out who she had....the teachers found out on Wednesday, but couldn't tell me. :( Then when I got there ton...

Today is Monday! So I thought I'd give an explanation for the "Six Word Saturday" that I posted. As if one is really needed.... Thursday...game. We won. Friday...game. We won. Saturday...game. We lost. Actually.... to be honest the other coach cheated and we should have tied and gone into overtime. However... I am trying really hard to be nice (NOW!). I was very rude and ill on Saturday as it happened and immediately after the game. I went so far as to try call the other coach a "cheating jerk who doesn't know anything about playing by the rules". Luckily...after hearing what he had done, other parents and some of the other coaches felt the same way. NO! I didn't go make an announcement, although I felt like it! The parents and other coaches were there.... it was the first of two possible Championship games. If we had won (which we would have in OT) we would have played again.
