No!  I'm not telling you who I'm voting for.  It doesn't matter!  Today, I spent most of my day in a meeting at work.  Then I voted!  The line at the middle school only had about 10 people in it at 1:43pm.  One of the ladies from my church works the poll.  She said that 1000 people voted early (my parents included) and that this morning the line was wrapped around to the gymnasium at 6:30am.  So....I had gotten there at a good time.  She said that at 4:30 or 5pm they expected the line to be long again!  After that I went to my parents' house.  My munchkin was "Grand Dad sitting" today.  Since he has come home from the hospital, he's on a walker.  He can't carry things and use the walker.  So she went over to stay with Grand Dad today. She helped him get his drink, snack, etc.!!! I got there right at 2pm.  I stayed there until 4pm watching "Walker: Texas Ranger" with Dad.  I love watching Chuck Norris...

So I really don't say much about politics and Presidents on here.  I try to keep this politic free because I have friends who are EXTREMELY opposite of me and I really don't want to offend.  If you care to discuss politics with me, come to me calmly and we can talk. However, here is what I want to say.  It's AUGUST already--almost September!  We have been hearing about the candidates for what seems like forever!  I know who I am voting for. I'm sure MOST Americans have made their decisions too. I think that the TVs should be CAMPAIGN-FREE ZONES from now until November.  I'm a little tired of Romney saying things about Obama.  I'm tired of Obama saying things about Romney.  I've met one of the candidates for Governor, and I'm tired of hearing him speak. I think at this point, all politics should go to an online campaign.  If people want the truth about the candidates, do research online for yourself.  We all know that NONE...

I don't know many people (if any right now) who could name all the Presidents (Washington to Obama). Do you? I can name the first five. Then I have a gap until Lincoln. Then I can name them from Nixon to Obama. (No... I wasn't even born when Nixon was in office!!) I love history though. Today, I was sent this link from a friend so I checked it out. So, today is the 36th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case. That is the case that legalized abortion. Of course, if you have read anything that I have written, you know where I stand on this matter. So, President Obama is planning to sign the FOCA into law. We need to stop it. I have attached a button to my sidebar that will allow you to sign the petition to stop this legislation. I think that ONE stupid decision is enough. Abortion is already legal. Until we have the people on the Supreme Court to reverse that decision, we have to deal with that. However... we can stop this legislation...I HOPE! Please click the button and sign the petition. As of today, the United States has its first African-American President. Shoot no! I didn't vote for him! There are many reasons, but mainly because I am a Christian! OK OK! Go ahead and yell! I know that some people think that you can be both--a Christian and a Democrat! Well... according to my Bible, there are some things wrong with that! 1...The 10 Commandments say "Thou Shalt Not Kill", but Democrats believe in abortion. Shoot! Some of them even believe in partial-birth abortion. Of course everyone has there own beliefs about this subject. So, believe however you feel. I am PRO-LIFE! There are plenty of people who can not have children, but that want them. Please share that opportunity with them.
