Day 17—Yesterday was my mom’s birthday. So, naturally, I wrote that I am thankful for mom. She puts up with me even when she probably shouldn’t.   Day 18—I’m thankful for my computers. My computers keep me in contact with people I probably would have lost a long time ago. I have friends/family who live far away. Since no one has time to sit and write 20 handwritten letters a month to people who are not near you, it’s so nice to have computers that can help you.  I love sending emails, tweets, and Facebook messages to friends/family just to say “hi”.   Operation Christmas Child is something we have done every year since the Princess was born.  We do boxes for girls who are about the same age as the Princess. So, this year…. we saved our actual shoe boxes from shoes we have purchased throughout the year. We had 6 boxes between the three of us. So last night, we got 4 plastic shoe boxes to go with it. I have three that are pretty big, so I need to get some other...

I'm really not a morning person!  I hate mornings.  I would much rather sleep until noon and get up and stay up all night! However, for most of my life (almost ALL of it) I have had to get up early for everything I do.  I think they should have 3rd shift school.  I could teach at that.  Shoot!  I'd even send my kid to that!  (She's not a morning person either!) I have been blogging every day this year (haha!  4 days!)!!!  I have done it in the mornings for most of those days. Why is that I have time in the mornings to do things that I can't do in the evening?  It could be that I don't plan anything else in the mornings.... because I'm not a morning person.  It could be that I'm in here on the computer anyways (email, work email, etc.).  It could be that since I graduated in December, I haven't had to spend hours on the computer every night working on homework.  So, I have been letting my Princess play on my compu...

I'm so happy that my computer has finally arrived! I got it almost as soon as I got home from picking up Chasity! I have had it on already, but I'm typing this one last message on my sister's computer. Right now, I'm going to close down this computer. Unplug it... get it ready to go back home to my sister. Then I'm going to clean off my desk! I'm so excited! :) Then.... I'm going to finish my paper and submit it online. After that, I'm going to put some stuff on eBay. I could really use some cash right about now! :) I'm so HAPPY!!!!! My computer has arrived! Until next time........

Well, this time it's not a broken computer. This time it is bad timing. lol So I was here ALL day and left only long enough to get Chasity from school. The FedEx man/woman came while I was gone to deliever my new computer. Since I have to sign for it, they couldn't leave it! :( So... maybe tomorrow they will come BEFORE or AFTER I leave to get Chasity. Otherwise I'll be chasing my computer for the next couple of days. lol Anyways....I DO have a new computer! I guess I'll get it tomorrow! lol Until next time........

I can't believe that I haven't blogged in a week! I've been so busy with everything here that I just totally didn't take the time! I had a list of things to do for a "Not Me Monday" post, but I guess they'll have to wait until next Monday! My classes at UNCC start on Monday. This semester, I only have ONE class, and it's online! I don't have to go to campus.... except to do the interview for my Internship Application for Spring semester. I really have to talk to my advisor because in reading over the requirements, I haven't met them. And...there's no way to meet them all before January! Anyways...that's a different story for a different time! Last night, Chasity lost her first tooth. We noticed right before we left for the beach that she had two loose teeth. Both of them were in the middle of the front (on the bottom). She has only played with them a little (because we told her that the Tooth Fairy couldn't find her at the...

So things are starting to come together here... First, we got Gma moved into the nursing home yesterday. I really like it, but I'm pretty sure my mom is wanting her back at the Assisted Living center. However.... I think given time, my mom will like this place just as much! Second, I went to the Girl Scout store today. I got all the badges/patches that the girls earned this year. Next year, I don't think I'm waiting until the last minute to get those! lol BUT.... I know I probably will! Third, plans are starting to come together for Friday Night's Girl Scout Awards Ceremony. People are starting to RSVP. I have the badges... I have all the cookie prizes (and have had for a month now)...snacks are being chosen...and the lady just called a few minutes ago to say that the Cookie Trophies are ready! :) I'm starting to get excited! Last (I think)....my computer monitor completely died on my laptop again, so I sent it off yesterday. I should have it back (and fi...

I can honestly say that my computer is consistent! I am getting ready to box it up to send it off to have it fixed for the THIRD time! Naturally the lady at the warranty place said that they do not ask for replacements until the same thing has broken 4 times in 12 months. I have until October to see if this is going to work....or if they are going to have to get me a new one! However.... the only thing I can say is that I really hope they get me another computer like this one... just that works! lol I like having the thing on the side to put in my camera disc so my pics go straight where I want them! After I send it off, they said it should be 10 business days before I get it back... Let's see if we can get it to work THIS time.... LOL At least I don't have school right now, so I'm not stressing about that! Until next time........

I am so happy! I am typing this on MY computer! My brother-in-law put all my programs back on for me. I have my sister her computer back! I'm loving this! I can put addresses back in my favorites and I don't have to type them in every day! This also means that I will be putting up some pics soon! I have pics of Chasity playing baseball! I have Dance pics! I also have pics of my unicorns to put up...I have someone interested in giving them a home!! (Plus... i"m going to try to get some of my S&P Shakers on here so I can show off some of my favorites!) This also means that you should look for my stuff on eBay soon! So.... all of my classes are finished for the semester! I'm so glad! I don't know what happened to me this semester! However... I did manage to pull all A's out of my classes again! So for all my Graduate work, I have a 4.0 GPA! For all my Undergraduate work (that counts towards my Graduate degree) I have a 3.70 GPA. I still have 2 classes that I have to factor into the Undergraduate classes...they are being transferred into UNCC from RCCC. Next semester, which starts Aug. 17th, is WAY tooooo closs, but I only I ONE class. So I should be able to stay on top of that class better than I did with 3 this semester! I am praying for a job....so if you want to pray with me.... I really need a job teaching High School English.... I need to start in August! :) I have enjoyed this year being about to go to Chasity's school when I wanted to, but I really need a job to finish out my Phase I coursework! So....let's all pray that I get one! Chasity only has a couple mor...

I haven't really had anything much to say lately. Actually, that's not true! I've had lots to say, but just haven't really wanted to take the time to say it. For example, I gained 5 lbs again! This time, I don't know how I did it! I just did! So now, I'm having to stress about that! Maybe I'm just supposed to stay this size until I get a job and can get more clothes! Clothes cost money....money I don't have until I get a job....a job I will hopefully have in August! So maybe I am going to shrink more after August! However...I am planning to continue trying NOW! Weight Watchers hasn't failed me; I've failed it! I'll get back on the wagon again! Girl Scouts are coming to an end soon. We still have a few more cookies to sale, but I think we might get those gone soon! Chasity has a few more things to do this year...then next year for the older Daisies, it will be easy patches. The NEW Daisies will have the harder ones to get! I ha...

As of yesterday, I lost another 3 lbs. That puts be at 31 lbs lost in 7 weeks! I'm loving Weight Watchers! (I'm watching the weight go away!) lol I now weigh 285!!! Yesterday turned out really well. Chasity finally calmed down once we actually got to church. Then last night we had a blast at Crossover Kannapolis. I wish everyone could have been there! It was great! I'm still using Lisa's computer! She is so super nice...when she wants to be. :) This Friday, I'm going to be attending a job fair for teachers only. I'm really in need of a job. All of the local school districts will be there, so I will get to interview and talk to them then! (I need to go shopping again to get that outfit I really wanted when I went shopping last Thursday! lol It would be AWESOME for that job fair! Since I think I need to get other things done, I won't be going to the store again this week. I will have to find something else cute to wear to the job fair! :) I...
