Getting it Together

This semester, I just can't seem to get my crap together. First, I got sick the beginning of February. That put me a week behind on everything. Then last week my computers at home killed over! That only put me 2 days behind, but still... So today, I turned in an assignment that was due Monday night. I hope the teacher takes it. For a NON-English class, this professor definitely expects a lot of papers.

In two weeks, on March 16, my mini-mester American Literature class will start. Tonight is the mid-term to my Adolescent lit class. AND... to top it all off, according to my friend who works at UNCC, the class I need for next semester isn't even offered at a time that I can take it! Just because of this one class, I might be in Grad School for another 10 years! No...not really, but it sure is aggrivating!!

Tomorrow, I am meeting with my Mary Kay director. I know she's wanting to know when I'm going to start working my business again. If I knew that, I would have told her already! I just got really discouraged at Christmas, but that's a story for a different day. Tomorrow morning, I'm delivering her Girl Scout cookies and getting the money for them. She bought them from Chasity! I just wish I could do it all! I want to be a free car driver! Shoot! I want to wear the director suit! BUT...I have trouble doing many things at one time...well. I can do school well. I can do MK well. But...I can't do both well at the same time. I'm going to do it... I just don't know when at the moment!

Everything will work out. I just have to be patient and wait!

Sorry you were not feeling well and having trouble with your classes. I ended up withdrawing from mine. With getting sick and then losing two family members, I just knew I could not keep up. It was a good decision for me. I hope you will be able to get thru this and finish. Blessings!

Holy moly, Leslie Jackson, you have got a ton on your plate right now. I am also a Mom and in school, but come no where near the busy schedule you maintain. You are amazing. Seriously. How on earth do you find time to blog?

Let me know if you learn the secret to doing it "all." I am still trying to figure that one out.

Weight Update!!

Last week, I didn't weigh myself because I was sick! Plus, I didn't really eat anything much at all last week. I did, however, register for Weight Watchers online. So I did spend time reading up and learning about the program. Today, I got on the scale. Two weeks ago, I weighed 402. Today, I weigh 390! In two weeks, I have lost another 12 lbs. That makes a total of 26 lbs. so far! I'm excited! Yeah, if you look at the previous post about my weight, it says that I started at 412. Yeah... I looked at the paper wrong. I started at 416. I lost 4 lbs the first week. I lost 4 lbs the second week. I lost 6 lbs the third week. Then I didn't weigh in last week. I weighed in today at 12 lbs down! I can tell it mostly in my pants. I HATE for my pants to be baggy, so I buy them to fit! Yesterday, I wore my black dress pants to church and I had to keep pulling them up. I'm going shopping next Sunday with my mom! I'm so happy! Still Learning

Ok...so I'm always learning something new. However, recently, I have seriously been thinking about something. I want to learn to sew. My mom has a sewing machine I can use any time I want to. Of course, if I really learn to sew, I'd want my own sewing machine! ;) Anyways, I have been checking into classes. I have only found one place in my town that does classes. They offer a 4 week class for $115. That's not bad for a class. But, I'm afraid I wouldn't learn in 4 weeks and I'd need to take the class again! lol Anyways, I'm still looking into it. I'd love to learn. I will one day. However, I've seen some REALLY cute things that I'd love to sew for Chasity to wear! :) Until next time........

NC Weather

In the state of NC, we rarely get that BIG SNOW. They used to be more common.  We used to get one huge snow a year.  Now, we are lucky if we get one every 2-3 years.    However, schools are cancelled, delayed, or let out early for weather all the time here.  We haven’t heard anything today about our schools, but we shall see.    It’s all about waiting to see what happens.  Sometimes, I think that God is sitting up there showing us HIS sense of humor.  He lets the weather people tell us whatever they want to tell us.  Then HE decides to have some fun with the weather.  (That’s just my 2 cents!)   Countdown Updates: 0 days until I pick up cookies!  TODAY is the day! They are still calling for “weather,” but they are pushing back the start time to later today. My scheduled pick up time is 6pm. So, we shall see.  It should be fine.
