Working on it!

I'm working on it! I'm getting there! Nothing is going to stop me now! lol (How many cliches do I really need to get me finished with this semester?)

So I have 4 papers, a 300-word essay, and 4 responses to other students' 300-word essays online that I have to do before midnight on Saturday night! I WILL have it finished and I WILL not ever wait this long again! However, I do know what I'm writing for 2 of the 4 papers....and they are only 2-pages each, so it's not really all that much! lol However, I still have 2 answers for the final exam that I can NOT find. So tomorrow I have to go back through all that to find them! Wonder if I can do that at the ball game tomorrow??? I am waking up in about 7 hours, so I guess I need to get to bed!

I will post as the need to procrastinate hits me, but hopefully NOT too hard!!!!

Leslie, you sound like me where college is concerned. I always start out with good intentions on keeping on time, but sometimes just manage to let the ole clock get away from me and it ends up turning into push comes to shove moments, lol. I know you WILL do it! Hang in there! God Bless!

Weight Update!!

Last week, I didn't weigh myself because I was sick! Plus, I didn't really eat anything much at all last week. I did, however, register for Weight Watchers online. So I did spend time reading up and learning about the program. Today, I got on the scale. Two weeks ago, I weighed 402. Today, I weigh 390! In two weeks, I have lost another 12 lbs. That makes a total of 26 lbs. so far! I'm excited! Yeah, if you look at the previous post about my weight, it says that I started at 412. Yeah... I looked at the paper wrong. I started at 416. I lost 4 lbs the first week. I lost 4 lbs the second week. I lost 6 lbs the third week. Then I didn't weigh in last week. I weighed in today at 12 lbs down! I can tell it mostly in my pants. I HATE for my pants to be baggy, so I buy them to fit! Yesterday, I wore my black dress pants to church and I had to keep pulling them up. I'm going shopping next Sunday with my mom! I'm so happy! Still Learning

Ok...so I'm always learning something new. However, recently, I have seriously been thinking about something. I want to learn to sew. My mom has a sewing machine I can use any time I want to. Of course, if I really learn to sew, I'd want my own sewing machine! ;) Anyways, I have been checking into classes. I have only found one place in my town that does classes. They offer a 4 week class for $115. That's not bad for a class. But, I'm afraid I wouldn't learn in 4 weeks and I'd need to take the class again! lol Anyways, I'm still looking into it. I'd love to learn. I will one day. However, I've seen some REALLY cute things that I'd love to sew for Chasity to wear! :) Until next time........

NC Weather

In the state of NC, we rarely get that BIG SNOW. They used to be more common.  We used to get one huge snow a year.  Now, we are lucky if we get one every 2-3 years.    However, schools are cancelled, delayed, or let out early for weather all the time here.  We haven’t heard anything today about our schools, but we shall see.    It’s all about waiting to see what happens.  Sometimes, I think that God is sitting up there showing us HIS sense of humor.  He lets the weather people tell us whatever they want to tell us.  Then HE decides to have some fun with the weather.  (That’s just my 2 cents!)   Countdown Updates: 0 days until I pick up cookies!  TODAY is the day! They are still calling for “weather,” but they are pushing back the start time to later today. My scheduled pick up time is 6pm. So, we shall see.  It should be fine.
