Waiting on Christmas

Remember when we were little and we would toss and turn all night in our beds waiting on "Santa" to come?

Remember watching the clock?

12:23

OMG!

I did that last night.

This morning, I have an interview for a job that I could start immediately!

I'm excited about it.

However, I guess last night, I was nervous!

I went to bed around 10:30pm.

Then I looked at the clock at 11pm.

I turned the TV off at 11:07pm.

Then I woke up again every 15 minutes until about 12:47am.

Finally after that I looked at the clock again at 2:28am.

Then at 3:34am.

Then at 4:01am---when the alarm went off! (I have a clock that you have to go through ALL the numbers to get back to :00 so I left it at :01.)

All that time....every time I looked at the clock... I thought...."This really feels like I'm waiting on Christmas!!"

Maybe that's a good sign!

I could really use this job for the rest of the school year! :)

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways. However, I have decided that I want to start saving now! So.... here's my plan. It's really really hard....just kidding! The only thing I need to know is this.....Does Wal-Mart still match prices? My Goodie Box!

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap!
