The Countdown is On!

We all know I love a good countdown! So…  not that I will do this EVERY day, but I will update some.  The official get-me-to-summer-break countdown is on!

 

9 more weeks

8 more Mondays (We get Memorial Day off!)

38 actual teaching days

6 exam days

 

So, that means… 1 more progress report.  1 more report card. And, for me, 36 happy students! 

 

I think I might actually put this up as a countdown on my board today!  Think the students will mind? Smile  I think they will get REALLY excited to see it in three weeks when we have less than a month left in class!

 

Now, the concern here is…. how in the world am I going to get everything taught that I still need to teach???  OMGeeee!  Smile  It will all get done!  Luckily, I don’t have Seniors!  Luckily, I’m not still in school myself! Smile 

 

So….  say it with me now….. THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!!!!!

Emotional Easter

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways. However, I have decided that I want to start saving now! So.... here's my plan. It's really really hard....just kidding! The only thing I need to know is this.....Does Wal-Mart still match prices? My Goodie Box!

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap! These are my goodies as they came out of the box.....weren't they wrapped cutely? I loved the paper Lisa used to wrap it. These are my goodies AFTER I unwrapped them!
