Writing Challenge--Day #9

It's kind of fitting that I'm doing this challenge. It's starting to ask questions about Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Since tomorrow is the last day of the posts I'm doing about the Writing Challenge, I think it's going to be a good way to end it.

Today's Challenge: "What's on your Christmas wish list?"

I have a lot of stuff on my Christmas wish list; don't we all?

I want things that can be bought:
Clothes
Shoes
Camera
Pots and Pans
Silverware
Mattress/Box Springs
Fitbit
Laptop

I want things I know I can't get:
Pay off my bills (all of them--including house, car, and student loans) before Dec. 31
Win the lottery (except I don't play)


I want things I have to work to get:
Health
Happiness
Love
Peace
Get my house decorated for Christmas (Tony & my nephew did the outside lights. Now the inside!!)
To get my 1/2 bath and the Princess's room painted (We got the paint last Christmas!)
My crafty business to succeed (more on that later!)


I want things that may/may not ever happen:
World Peace
End World Hunger
Stop Child Abuse
Find a home for all kids who need one

Emotional Easter

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways. However, I have decided that I want to start saving now! So.... here's my plan. It's really really hard....just kidding! The only thing I need to know is this.....Does Wal-Mart still match prices? My Goodie Box!

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap! These are my goodies as they came out of the box.....weren't they wrapped cutely? I loved the paper Lisa used to wrap it. These are my goodies AFTER I unwrapped them!
