Oprah Effect
Really, I'm not much of an Oprah fan. I watched her show SOME while I was in college. It made for good writing in my English classes. However, I started thinking. Do we really think that Oprah would have decided to "retire", as much as owning/running your own network will let you, if Obama had not been voted in as President? Do we seriously think that she would have left America without an African-American President AND without the Oprah Winfrey Show? Personally, I don't care. But... I was just thinking about it.
