Did I get you?  lol    No!  We aren’t moving again!  Hopefully for a VEEEEERRRRYYYY long time!  I hate moving!    Anyways… our house has 3 bedrooms and a bonus room.  When we moved in, we told the Princess she could use the Bonus Room as her play room.  After getting everything in, we realized that our office (the third bedroom) was so very cramped.  The Princess was only used 1/2 of the Bonus Room for toys.   We decided to switch it.    So, we did!   Yesterday!   I went through boxes that had still been packed since November.  Much of the stuff that we are keeping fit into smaller boxes or tubs.   Most of the stuff in the boxes became “recylcables”  or “donatables”.  We have TWO huge boxes of stuff that need to be recycled.  We have a big box and a couple of little boxes of things that need to be donated.    LOVE IT!  So glad we are doing t...

No, I’m not kidding!   I flooded the ENTIRE downstairs of the new house today!  However, I totally blame it on my husband!   When we looked at the house for the first time, we knew that the previous owner was leaving the washer and dryer.  Both look really new.  Our washer/dryer combo is only about a year old, so we thought that we would try out the ones in the new house to see which we liked better.  Then we would sell the other set.   So today, we went over to paint the Princess’s room.  She wanted “Satin Snow” with a “Fairytale Pink” stripe.  We agreed to those colors.    I decided to throw Tony’s work pants that we had taken over into the washer.  It started like it was supposed to.  I went back up stairs.  My mom was there.  She was upstairs.  A while—like hour or so—later Mom and I walked downstairs to find about 2 inches of water covering the kitchen floor, seeping into the living ro...

On Wednesday at 3pm at a lawyer’s office here in town, Tony and I closed on the house!    We put in the offer on July 27th.  We closed on November 7th!    Now… the fun part!    We have to finish packing the kitchen so we can move!     But…  the house is ours! 

Dad finally came home from the hospital on Saturday.  He still has some recovering to do, but he's at home and feeling much better. Only a few more softball games until the season is over.  We play this weekend, and we have a game next weekend.  Then next Saturday afternoon the tournament starts.  So we could have as few as 3 games, but I guess we could have as many as 5 games left! :)  I guess we will see after Saturday! I only have about 6-7 weeks until GRADUATION!  I graduate on December 15th!  I'm excited!  We are supposed to close on the new house on November 12th!  I can't wait!  Tony has to decorate the outside for Christmas!  He said that if we got in before Thanksgiving that he would put lights outside for Christmas!  (He never thought we'd actually get in before Thanksgiving when he said it!  lol I'm so excited!) The kids came to school on Monday!  It has been awesome getting to know my new students!  They are very different than the kids I had last year!  My UNCC classes (2) started on Aug. 20th!  I'm totally trying to not fall behind! My princess is at a new school.  She seems to be liking it.  She says she's only made ONE new friend.  I'm sure that's the hardest part about moving schools.  However, in 2 years, she will change schools again to go to middle school.  Then she will meet MANY new friends from several different schools.  Eventually, she might get to be in classes with her cousins who will be at the same middle and high school! :)  We are getting a new house!  We are buying!  So we are trying to keep up with the packing! Yes! I'm saying it again! WE ARE MOVING! Not only that, Chasity is going to start in a new school. My mom, Chasity, and I went to Chasity's new school today to get the 2nd grade "Enrollment Package"!! One of the Assistant Principals gave us a tour of the school. The rooms there are MUCH bigger than the rooms at her old school! The AP that gave us the tour is also the one that does class placement for the students. She said that if Chasity's records from the previous school say everything that I told her today, she is going to "hand pick" Chasity's teacher for this year. That way Chasity will get the attention she needs for the fact that she is a 2nd grader on a 4th grade reading level! So.... What else have I done today? Oh yeah!
