Somethings just don't happen the way you hope/wish they would. For example, last Wednesday, the Princess had her Battle of the Books competition. Out of  schools, they came in 4th. Of course, I was HOPING for 1st..... but.... it doesn't always work out that way! :) Wednesday evening, I also didn't win the 7th largest PowerBall Jackpot.  (Of course, to be considered, I'd have to buy a ticket, and I didn't do that either!) Thursday, I went for my follow-up with my neurosurgeon. He re-did my CT scan and determined that my aneurysms have not changed. They haven't grown, but they haven't gotten smaller. In all honesty, I was hoping God would just take them away--since my Doc said that they never go away without surgery. I was hoping God would prove him wrong. The good thing is that I'm healthy and don't have to go back until next February. (I am thinking about changing to a doctor closer to home. I'm not sure I want to drive to Charlotte just to...

Last week I got older. I guess that's not really crazy.  We technically get older every day.  Then this week, in ONE day, I got 430 views on my blog!!  That's NEVER happened before, but I could get used to it! ****** We are still in the middle of Girl Scout cookie season. If you haven't gotten yours yet, let me know. I can either deliver them (if you are close enough) or give you the website where you can order them. ****** On Sunday, the stuff for Vacation Bible School came in! I'm so excited!  I'm the director this year, but I am going to need a TEAM of awesome people!  We have a church full of awesome people!  I'm going to get the recruiting video ready so that the pastor can show it before we have the volunteer meeting!!! On Sunday, the pastor also announced to the church that we are doing toys for 500 kids this Christmas. We are going to be collecting toys and money. Yesterday, our schedules around here got back to normal. Tony went back to work. I went back to the daycare (but only for about a week). My friend I have been covering for is supposed to be able to come back next week. :) The Princess went back to school. After school, the Princess and I went to the gym. She's wanting to get healthier and get her knee back in shape. I need to get back in and get back to working out. I have not been sitting still, but I have not been to the gym since June 8, 2016. :(  Our summer schedule was crazy and then I got sick. Once school started, I was at the daycare and subbing. It has been one excuse after another. So... yesterday, the Princess and I went. We were there a little over an hour. She completed a circuit on the machines and did 3.5 miles. I did 5 miles at the gym (6 miles for the day)!! That's a good start.  We're planning to go back today after school too. :)  I think she enjoys it.  At least, I hope she does...

Get back in to the gym on a regular basis 8. Read a book every month (at least one!) 9. Spend more time with family 10. Keep my house cleaner 11. Pay off bills 12. Save money I could go on and on. Today, I met with the Neuro-surgeon. It turns out that the aneurysm behind my right eye is about 1mm. The one behind my left eye is about 3mm. At this time, the surgeon thinks surgery would do more harm than good. In February, we will re-do all the scans/tests. Then, if they are the same, we wait 6 more months. If they have grown, then we discuss other options. There is a chance that these aneurysms have been there for years and we only discovered them while the doctor was trying to diagnose a cause for my headaches.  BTW.... the aneurysms have NOTHING to do with the pain!! I am allowed to return to normal....whatever that is. Today, the Princess started 8th grade! (There's NO WAY that's possible!) Tomorrow, I'm hoping to get back in the gym!
