Finally Catching Up on the Times

Today's post  is short and sweet! I have had Facebook forever. I have had Pinterest forever, and I love it!!  I have had Instagram for a while, but hadn't used it until recently. I have had Twitter for a while also, but hardly ever used it either. FINALLY.... when the snow was falling outside my window last Wednesday, I downloaded SnapChat. You can follow me at all of these, if you wish. If you want me to follow you, leave your information in the comments. Complaining Friends

Many of my friends are complaining because their kids are home today for another “Snow Day” although the snow has mostly melted. They are upset that all the roads on their way to school are clear.  So… I got a little tired of it.  I stepped up on my soapbox.  Here is what I posted on Facebook about the situation! I typically try to stay away from topics that cause a lot of complaints and arguing from my friends. But... if you are complaining that your children are home with you today because schools are closed LISTEN UP! You are NOT the only person with a child in the school. (This applies to other situations as well, but really for delays and cancellations!) Your road is NOT the only road that bus drivers and parents drive on to get to the school. Just because YOUR road is clear does not mean that every road in the county is passable. The teachers are NOT thrilled about Saturday school either. Trust me; we like to sleep in the few days that we can....

Mammograms and Other Medical Stuff

If you are also my Facebook friend, please keep this off of there. :)  Thanks so much. Now... A couple of days ago, I asked if anyone here knows anything about RSD.  I still don't.  My mom said I should Google it, but I'm afraid I'll only find the BAD stuff.  So, I'm hoping I can hold off a little longer.  Maybe they will find something else in Dad's leg and it won't be RSD.  I will look it up soon enough. Yesterday, I went for my first ever Mammogram.  My doc said that I'm getting ready to be 35, and she highly recommended that I get it.  (There were other reasons, but I'll keep those to myself, for now!) So after work yesterday, I went.  It didn't take long to do the Mammogram.  I would have been out by 4:30 (and I got there at 4pm)!  However, my doctor also ordered an ultrasound....
