This week has been pretty crazy! It all started last Saturday! We had a baseball game at noon! Yep! It was POURING down rain! I actually think I saw some cats and dogs falling from the sky! We had a 15 minute delay, but it didn't help. However....as long as there's not thunder and lightning....the ball game goes on! So I was under the umbrella, but Tony and Chasity were on the field in the rain! Sunday... I got up to get ready for church only to find Tony in the fetal position in our bed. He was freezing (and it was 70-ish in the house). He had a fever of 103....so.... I got Chasity ready for church and sent her with my mom. I took Tony to Urgent Care (like an ER, but quicker and cheaper on the wallet)!! We weren't there long before they had decided that he had pneumonia and his blood work was looking strange. So they sent us home (actually to Walgreens for meds) and said to get to his PCP (primary care physician) ASAP! Monday....Memorial Day.....I got up and c

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap! These are my goodies as they came out of the box.....weren't they wrapped cutely? I loved the paper Lisa used to wrap it. These are my goodies AFTER I unwrapped them! I know everyone has heard the song from "The Sound of Music"...."These are a few of my favorite things...."! Well... today I'm going to show a few of my favorite things. (I just hope I can get the pics to work right....LOL!) First, I have some pics of my Salt and Pepper shakers. Please know that this is NOT all of them. This is just some of the ones that I really like. I think they are some of the cutest ones I have. :) Of course...there is one rule to collecting salt and pepper shakers..... I do not buy them for myself. I have close to 200 sets (probably...I've never counted) and I have not bought a single pair for myself. First we have a 1953 Corvette. Tony bought these on our 1st Anniversary when we toured the Corvette Museum in TN. The top comes off and is the salt and the bottom is the pepper. Here is the Space Needle. Ok...so this is post #99! Tomorrow...tonight...in two weeks (when I feel like it!) I am going to do post #100! So I have been thinking about it, and I think I'm going to do some pics and general information about me! I think I'm going to share parts of me that have not been shared yet...on here anyways! Today is my wedding anniversary. Yeah... it has shaped up to be just another day. Tonight, we are even going our separate ways for different plans.... isn't that just wonderful! Hmmm......guess after 8 years..... well.... it just doesn't matter any more! :) I should be more upset, I'm sure. BUT... I'm just not! Maybe eventually we will get to celebrate. If eBaying is not a word....well then we should make it one! I love selling Chasity's old clothes on eBay. I get a little extra cash and I get to empty out her closet. I have learned that--especially the really good stuff--I can get more on eBay for it than by going to a consignment shop. Many of Chasity's clothes are from consignment shops or consignment sales. I love it! I get great deals on practically new stuff! (Now...if they just carried clothes in MY size....BUT... I'm still working on that!) Speaking of working on that, I weighed in this morning at 367.8....that means that TOTAL, I have lost 50.2 lbs! I'm so EXCITED! AND... I got a new scale.... it only weighs up to 400.... I had to buy a special on last time that went to 450! (It cost to much and broke toooooo easy! So I don't need it any more!! Ok....so now.... I guess that since I'm not in school right now, I need to work on getting my rear in gear and exercisizing! I know... I keep saying I

I am so happy! I am typing this on MY computer! My brother-in-law put all my programs back on for me. I have my sister her computer back! I'm loving this! I can put addresses back in my favorites and I don't have to type them in every day! This also means that I will be putting up some pics soon! I have pics of Chasity playing baseball! I have Dance pics! I also have pics of my unicorns to put up...I have someone interested in giving them a home!! (Plus... i"m going to try to get some of my S&P Shakers on here so I can show off some of my favorites!) This also means that you should look for my stuff on eBay soon! So.... all of my classes are finished for the semester! I'm so glad! I don't know what happened to me this semester! However... I did manage to pull all A's out of my classes again! So for all my Graduate work, I have a 4.0 GPA! For all my Undergraduate work (that counts towards my Graduate degree) I have a 3.70 GPA. I still have 2 classes that I have to factor into the Undergraduate classes...they are being transferred into UNCC from RCCC. Next semester, which starts Aug. 17th, is WAY tooooo closs, but I only I ONE class. So I should be able to stay on top of that class better than I did with 3 this semester! I am praying for a job....so if you want to pray with me.... I really need a job teaching High School English.... I need to start in August! :) I have enjoyed this year being about to go to Chasity's school when I wanted to, but I really need a job to finish out my Phase I coursework! So today I commented on the post done by a friend who lives in my computer. She is trying to get her name out and design blogs for people. So.... I decided it's time to get myself a new design! :) However...she's not being greedy and only giving away ONE...she's giving away a few free blog designs. So....go check out her "Giving it Away" post. Right now my heart is saddened as I just read that sweet Kaleigh Anne Freeman left this world last night. Although we all know that she is in Heaven and her little body has been made new and she is not in any pain or discomfort any more, it is hard to see a baby pass on. I know that prayers kept her alive for almost 11 months. Now, we can only pray that God will continue to comfort the family and close friends who are suffering and grieving now. Kaleigh's life (as short as it was) was a miracle, and God used her to touch many people. We can only hope that God will now touch her family to continue their lives without that precious baby. Pray for the Freeman family in their time of loss. Until next time........

I'm working on it! I'm getting there! Nothing is going to stop me now! lol (How many cliches do I really need to get me finished with this semester?) So I have 4 papers, a 300-word essay, and 4 responses to other students' 300-word essays online that I have to do before midnight on Saturday night! I WILL have it finished and I WILL not ever wait this long again! However, I do know what I'm writing for 2 of the 4 papers....and they are only 2-pages each, so it's not really all that much! lol However, I still have 2 answers for the final exam that I can NOT find. So tomorrow I have to go back through all that to find them! Wonder if I can do that at the ball game tomorrow??? I am waking up in about 7 hours, so I guess I need to get to bed! I will post as the need to procrastinate hits me, but hopefully NOT too hard!!!! Until next time........

Today, I spent the day at Chasity's school. I got there about 10:30am and Chasity and I left at 1:00pm. I checked her out early. I guess it's a good thing too because she wasn't feeling so well. I took her to the doctor's office and he checked her for strep--negative, but running a culture for a couple days! Then we found out that my sis-in-law in WV is quarantined because she may have the swine flu.....of course, she was HERE this past weekend for Chasity's recital! Anyways.... I'm counting down days and assignments. I have 28 hours and 44 minutes (until 12 midnight tomorrow) to get everything done! I have two papers finished and turned in. I have 6 papers left. I know what I'm going to write for 4 of them, but it's the other two that worry me! lol So.... I'm in serious countdown-stress out mode....BUT....when it's finished, I get to celebrate Mother's Day! Tomorrow is a sad anniversary, but I'll write about that tomorrow....

Monday post when I should be reading. I have not procrastinated until the last 6 days to get all my work done for the end of the semester! I would never do that! I would not be counting down the days until Chasity and I are both out of school....6 for me....23 for Chasity! I would not be excited about sleeping past 6:30am!!! I know I haven't really been great at keeping up with things, but.... I just updated my other blog-- Poetry by Leslie Jackson . Check it out! Also....Weight Watchers update. Ok...so weight update! For the past 3 weeks, I have stayed at 370. So this week, I was a little busy and didn't really keep up with what I was eating (but kept up with points, if that makes sense) and I gained 8 lbs. I'm back at 378. However, I knew I was going to gain weight, so that was NOT a surprise. I just have to do better THIS week! :) School....I am completely finished (waiting on final grade) in my EDUC class at UNCC. This week is my FINAL WEEK until August! Can you feel the excitement in the air? :) UNFORTUNATELY.... between now and Wednesday, I have two books to read. I also have to check out the other books that we read since the mid-term to refresh on characters! I have that final Wednesday night! In my other online class, I have a final exam, but I have the questions alread
