The World According to Leslie

This morning, bright and early, a few buses of kids from The Princess's school loaded up and left for Washington, D. C. The Princess and I were not on the bus. :(  Last year, about this time, we WERE on the bus to Nags Head, for 3 days. This year, we are not on the bus. We just couldn't do it! Actually, Tony, The Princess, and I were all going to go, but we just couldn't swing it. That means, she's carrying on a (somewhat sad) family tradition. She is not going on her 8th grade field trip to Washington. I didn't get to go. (I don't remember why, now!) And, unfortunately, I have never made it up there yet.  However.... The Princess has determined that we WILL be going to DC! :)  I want to go. I want to see Arlington, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I want to see all the museums! I want to tour the White House. As I get older, I sometimes think that I am OCD. NOt as much as the guy in "As Good as It Gets" but still OCD. However, after the week I've had, I think I might seriously be bipolar. The other day I said that I had been in a bad mood. Yeah....a VERY bad mood. I would scream. I would cry. I would pout. I don't know what was wrong with me. However, a couple of days later, I woke up and I was happy. I used to blame it on stress... or PMS. However, I don't have either of those right now! So, I think I'm going to seriously talk to my doctor about testing me (is there a test) for being bipolar. We had a very event filled weekend. Thursday evening, Chasity had her ballet rehearsal. Then on Friday evening, she performed in "The Lion King" ballet with her dance studio. Saturday morning, she had rehearsal for her Saturday evening performance.
