Getting Back On Track

Image
On February 15, 2018, Chasity and I signed up to be Paparazzi jewelry consultants. Since she is under 18, she and I work together. It was my 40th birthday present to myself.  We were doing pretty good, then we hit the holidays last year and didn't have time for anything. All of a sudden, it's been almost a year since we have done anything with the business. Now, we are trying to get back on track.  Tonight we are doing a live video on Facebook.  Right now, Paparazzi is running the Customer Appreciation Month special online. For every $35 purchase, you get a free necklace set. Check out the website at www.blingoutpost.com . Leave a comment to tell me what you think!

It's Novemeber Already

Every year about this time, I realize that it's almost Thanksgiving. Then I notice that Christmas is only a month later with the new year following that. You would think that I would have figured out that time was flying by, but I haven't. I keep getting blind-sided by it every year... hoping that I will eventually catch up and not be so surprised. I have actually done a lot this year, but it still seems like I haven't. At the beginning of 2019, I was back in the classroom teaching. The demographics were different than my previous school, by my love of  teaching and love for my students was the same! In June (long story), but I ended up not being in the classroom any more. Like I sa

Writing Again

Recently I rediscovered my love of writing. I started taking classes toward a 2nd master's degree--Master of Arts in Professional Writing. I remembered how much I love  putting words on a page. Then I saw a post on Facebook not long ago about #NaNoWriMo2019--National Novel Writing Month. I haven't even started planning out my novel yet, but I have been putting words on a page. In the 3-4 days I have been able to just sit and write this month, I have been able to put almost 10K words to the page. I still have oh-so-many words left, of course, but I have started. I have research to do for my dream novel, but for the book I'm putting on the page now, I know the story and I'm typing it as quickly as my hands will allow me. We moved the computer back upstairs tonight to work on some other stuff, but I think if I leave it up here, I may actually get more writing done. Here goes...something!
