The World According to Leslie

Ever since school started on August 25, 2008, my friends/family/random people that I talk to have been asking me how I get everything done. For those of you who do not know, Aug. 25, 2008, is the date that Chasity started Kindergarten and I started Graduate School. Other than School and normal family stuff (laundry, dishes, meals, etc.) I am also a member of the PTO board at Chasity's school. I am her Girl Scout Troop leader. I am on the Service Unit (area) Team for Girl Scouts. I am on the Praise and Worship team at church. Chasity has dance. In the Spring, if she wants to again, Chasity has baseball. When I tell people everything we do, their first question is "How do you get it all done?". My answer is always simple.... CALENDARS! lol I have a calendar that I carry with me (datebook--it's cute too!). I have one that goes on my desk here at the house. The desk one is small/thin enough that I can throw it in a notebook or backpack to add stuff to when I...

I am so happy! I am typing this on MY computer! My brother-in-law put all my programs back on for me. I have my sister her computer back! I'm loving this! I can put addresses back in my favorites and I don't have to type them in every day! This also means that I will be putting up some pics soon! I have pics of Chasity playing baseball! I have Dance pics! I also have pics of my unicorns to put up...I have someone interested in giving them a home!! (Plus... i"m going to try to get some of my S&P Shakers on here so I can show off some of my favorites!) This also means that you should look for my stuff on eBay soon! I will have it up tonight or tomorrow night! *I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!* Until next time........

Today, I spent the day at Chasity's school. I got there about 10:30am and Chasity and I left at 1:00pm. I checked her out early. I guess it's a good thing too because she wasn't feeling so well. I took her to the doctor's office and he checked her for strep--negative, but running a culture for a couple days! Then we found out that my sis-in-law in WV is quarantined because she may have the swine flu.....of course, she was HERE this past weekend for Chasity's recital! Anyways.... I'm counting down days and assignments. I have 28 hours and 44 minutes (until 12 midnight tomorrow) to get everything done! I have two papers finished and turned in. I have 6 papers left. I know what I'm going to write for 4 of them, but it's the other two that worry me! lol So.... I'm in serious countdown-stress out mode....BUT....when it's finished, I get to celebrate Mother's Day! Tomorrow is a sad anniversary, but I'll write about that tomorrow.... ...

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama . You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week. Just so you know, I am using POST NUMBER 90 for my NOT ME! MONDAY!!! Isn't that exciting? By the end of this week (probably) I will have a "party" for reaching post number 100!!! (What should I do for that party?? Hmmm......) So.... I really do not have much to say about this weekend! Oh okay. You twisted my arm! I am NOT currently sitting here working on a Not Me! Monday post when I should be reading. I have not procrastinated until the last 6 days to get all my work done for the end of the semester! I would never do that! I would not be counting down the days until Chasity and I are both out of school....6 for me....23 for Chasity! I would not be excited about sleeping past 6:30am!!! I guess this next part really isn't about me. My child would not be the ONE child out of all the dancers...

I haven't really had anything much to say lately. Actually, that's not true! I've had lots to say, but just haven't really wanted to take the time to say it. For example, I gained 5 lbs again! This time, I don't know how I did it! I just did! So now, I'm having to stress about that! Maybe I'm just supposed to stay this size until I get a job and can get more clothes! Clothes cost money....money I don't have until I get a job....a job I will hopefully have in August! So maybe I am going to shrink more after August! However...I am planning to continue trying NOW! Weight Watchers hasn't failed me; I've failed it! I'll get back on the wagon again! Girl Scouts are coming to an end soon. We still have a few more cookies to sale, but I think we might get those gone soon! Chasity has a few more things to do this year...then next year for the older Daisies, it will be easy patches. The NEW Daisies will have the harder ones to get! I ha...

Yesterday wasn't so great! First, Chasity had school. Stupid! I thought they were going to take Spring Break. Why didn't they? The TEACHERS complained! So...they forced parents to rearrange their schedules to bring kids to school....3 days after the missed day. If they are going to do Saturday school, do it a week later so that schedules can be fixed. Don't call on Wednesday to say that school is on Saturday.... YES...that's what they did this time! Anyways... that was fine. She went. She had fun! She did "Dr. Suess" all day because they missed it on Monday because of snow! Then...after that, I had to count cookies for Girl Scouts. I had to see how many cookies we had left. Finished! That's great! TOO MANY STUPID COOKIES LEFT! THEN...went to get Chasity's dance pics done. When we arrived, we were told that they were running about 20 minutes behind schedule. OK....20 minutes....tight for me, but fine....we'll deal with it. By the ti...

Well...last night Chasity had dance. The schedule is off this week because of dance pictures at the studio. Today Chasity has dance pictures. However, that does NOT begin our day! lol First Chasity has to go to school. Mom and I are taking her because we are heading to a big Consignment Sale. We might even hit a yard sale or two. We love doing that! :) Then after I get Chasity from school, I have to count Girl Scout Cookies. We have our final weekend of selling cookies at booths...today and tomorrow. There are 3 booths in the mix! We are going to run out of some flavors... I know that, but we are going to have SOME left over! We will figure out what to do with them...I hope! As soon as I'm finished counting GS Cookies, Chasity has dance pictures. She has these two cute little outfits to wear. I'll post pics, but only after my mom sees them. They are a surprise to her! She also gets to wear make-up for the pics. I'll make her look natural though...I hate make...
