Happy Easter 2018--I am Blessed!

Image
April 1st, 2018!! It's April Fool's Day, but I haven't played any jokes on anyone, yet.  I haven't had time. The Easter Bunny did show up at my house. This morning, we had to be at church early to practice one last time for the Easter choir. Then I taught Sunday School.  Then we had service (choir included). Then we pied the Pastor! (I'll post the Facebook video of that as soon as I can!) Then lunch.  Now how to do some stuff before we head to hang out with the family for Easter! We did a family pic at church with everyone who was there today... missing one! Now... I'm writing! Tony is making mashed potatoes (yummy homemade ones) for the family dinner later. Chasity is doing her laundry and coloring/drawing.  Typical Sunday now! Through Paparazzi, Chasity and I have been challenged to do a few things.  Since we did not meet our March Challenge, we are given the same one again, but they are adding a new on also! First, March Challenge ...

Busy Day….Sleeping In

As of 11am yesterday, I am on SPRING BREAK!  One rule for Spring Break is DO NOT WAKE ME UNTIL THE SUN IS UP (except Easter Sunday when we go to SONrise service)!!! This morning, I slept until 8:15!  It was so awesome!  The sun was coming in my window!  The alarm never went off--wasn't even set!  Now, we have softball at 11am! We have an Easter egg hunt (with a local church and 20,000 Easter eggs!) at 2pm!  Then we have to come home and get cleaned up to go to my parents for dinner.  Supposedly all the kids (Donnie, Lisa, and me) and our families are going to be there! In between those, we might go help my parents with some yard work if they want us to (if they are ready to do it today!)!!!!  It's going to be a busy day!  Can't wait to see the WHOLE family! :)

2012: A Year in Review (Part 1)

In 2012, we had some ups, some downs.  We did some things that we loved, hated, and some that we NEVER want to do again! In January, Chasity decided she wanted to cheer.  So… we signed her up.  She made some new friends.  Unfortunately, it was very unorganized.  (We are not used to that with sports.  Softball for the same organization is very organized.)  So, she decided by March that she HATED cheering.  That’s okay!  She still loves Softball. Softball registration is in January.  The evaluation day and draft are in February.  That means that by the end of February, you are practicing Softball.  Then the games start in March.    This year, her team was the “Mets”.  They were the season and tournament CHAMPS!!!  We had the best coach ever!  We are hoping to play for him again this Spring!   Easter was fun.  We had an Easter Egg Hunt at church.  (It was after the Su...

Wow! I'm getting close to 100 posts already! Can't believe it! I never knew I had so much stuff to write about myself. OK OK OK! I know...it's not ALL about me! lol Anyways.... yesterday was GREAT! We went to Sonrise Service at 6am! Then we had breakfast at church! Then, we came home and got dressed up (Easter Clothes) for Sunday School and Regular Morning Worship! Then we had lunch at church with the family! Then....wow...we did a lot yesterday....we came home and dyed Easter eggs. We hid the eggs twice for Chasity to find them. She loved it.... got a little angry when we told her it was time to come inside! lol (She threw flip flops at our heads! lol) Anyways...a little later we played Yatzee! as a family!! It was pretty cool! Chasity passed out around 9pm. We were expecting her to want to stay awake all night since she is officially on SPRING BREAK this week! :) I do have pics to put up.... unfortunately, I don't have a way to put them on here. A...

Playing Catch-up!

So I haven't written anything in a while. It's really ok though. I don't think I'll die if I don't write anything....but.....I didn't want to take the chance too long! Anyways...things are good here. Tony was off work yesterday and so was my mom. So they went to eat lunch with Chasity at school. It was pretty cool to see her face light up like that. Of course, I have been at her school every day this week...except Wednesday...for new Kindergartner tours. It's that time again....people are registering Kindergartners for next year. Mainly, I sat in the Media Center with the Kindergarten teachers and did my homework! It was pretty cool! lol After lunch yesterday, we checked Chasity out early and headed home. Actually we headed to Larry King Chevrolet to get my car. It had been in the shop since Thursday.... it was time to have some work done to her. She's been a great car... she's 7 years old and close to 200,000 miles. It's really about...
