5 minutes 30 seconds and 0.15 miles

Yesterday, when I got on the treadmill, I wasn't really tired at 5 minutes, so I walked for 30 more seconds. In that 30 seconds, I walked 0.04 miles. I'm adding time already!

5 minutes 0.11 miles

So I know that since I lost weight in 2009 I have gained all of it plus some back. In January 2009, I decided to try Weight Watchers online. I loved it. I was doing my Points. I was losing weight. Then in October 2009, when dad had his wreck and subsequent emergency surgery, I re-learned how much easier it was just to grab something at a drive-thru than to go home, prepare something, and then get to the hospital. After Dad got out of the hospital and was back to normal (whatever THAT is), I just didn't get myself back on the plan. I don't use Dad going into the hospital as an excuse!! I could have totally gotten myself back on the plan after he was back to normal and back to work. So that is not an excuse. It just happens to be when I stopped trying..... but it is totally on me. So now..... I have regained ALL of the 60 lbs that I lost in 2009 and a few more. I really do mean only a few.... like 32-ish. For it to have been over a year ago for me to lose the weight and t

Valentine's Day and Today

As of yesterday, I have had a cute diamond ring on my finger for 11 years! As of yesterday, Tony and I have been together for 11-and-a-half years! In 2000, on Valentine's Day, Tony and I had been dating for 6 months! (We started dating on August 14, 1999)! That day, I knew we had plans for the evening. I also had plans with my dad to go get my "new to me" car. We got there. I drove it. I started the paperwork. I realized I left the CASH at home for the down payment. We flew home--in the truck! I got the money. We went back and finished the paperwork! The coolest thing about my "new to me" car was that it had a radio! The car I traded in did not have one! So that night, we took my "new to me" car to dinner. After dinner, we were sitting in the parking lot at Ryan's (which they closed down a few years ago in that location) and we were playing with the radio settings. Then all of a sudden Tony knelt down in the floorboard of my car and pul

Pity Party

So by the title you can tell that this is not going to be a happy post. Really, this post is just for me; so feel free to bail while you can! :) Today, I had the clock set for 5:15am. I didn't even hear it until 6am. I was already 45 minutes late. I hate being rushed. At 6am when I woke up, there was thunder rattling my windows and lightening flashing into my room! I thought that was kind of crazy! I got up, got ready, and headed to do the Girl Scout stuff I had to do today. In the rush, I forgot the money for the Juliette Gordon Low World Friendship Fund I was supposed to take. I also forgot my camera! I have NOTHING to show for today. As if I wasn't already in a bad mood, I haven't have anything to eat since 7am. It's 5:45pm right now! I went to the kitchen to get something to eat.... only to learn that my husband had eaten (without asking--since it was specifically bought for me) the food I had planned to eat today! I came upstairs with all intentions of or
