Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try . Author Unknown It doesn't matter what I have tried to do in my life, I had at some point to make a decision to try it. I'm sitting here today thinking of all the things I've tried and some I've accomplished. When I was younger, I wanted to be a writer. I guess that since I'm posting here, I have (somewhat) accomplished that. I am writing on a (somewhat) regular basis. One day, I still hope to write a book, I just haven't made the decision for the correct topic yet. When I was in high school, I decided to become a teacher. I accomplished that. I taught in high schools for four years. I still teach, at a daycare. I made that decision and accomplished it. Everyone who has ever done anything, has decided to do it. Do any of those sound like they have something in common?   No?   Well…..   Today, in my world, they have something in common.   That is what I am doing today.  1. Going to watch the Princess play softball (Go TARHEELS!) 2. Going to get the van checked since we didn’t get home in time to do it last night 3. Putting lots of Spring-y dresses on eBay to make some cash…. hopefully! 4. Working on shrinking my final exam for school so that it fits in 2 hours instead of 4!!!!  I am giving my final exams on Friday, May 31 and Monday, June 3!  I don’t have much time left to teach these kids!  I hope they are ready for full-speed, overdrive to get finished!   My weekend plans often have a way of connecting really random things!    LET’S GO TARHEELS!!!!

I love lazy Sunday afternoons.  I have not been able to have those for a while, since I was in school.  Most of my homework assignments were due on Sundays.  So for the last few months (Since December) I have had lazy Sunday afternoons.  It's nice to come home, eat lunch, and sit on the couch watching TV.  Sure I have a million boxes (maybe not THAT many) left to pack.  Sure I have 4-5 bags of clothes and stuff to list on eBay.  Sure I could have spent the afternoon writing, reading, or just hanging with the family. But, sometimes, a nice lazy Sunday afternoon is exactly what is needed.  I got that today.....  with a 2 hour nap to boot. :) I hope you have all had a great Sunday afternoon.

So.... on Sunday morning, I posted something.  Or... at least I thought I did. :)  However, there is nothing there.  It really wasn't much.  I was in a hurry (much like right now).  It said "SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!  GO RAVENS!"  (or something just as lame!)  Now, it's not here.  So....  according to Blogger, I "missed" posting on Sunday. :(  I'm thinking in my hurry, I forgot to hit PUBLISH!  lol In the last month, everything I have listed on eBay (5 items) have sold!  Let's hope this trend continues as I have probably 100 things I need to get rid of.  Mostly Chasity's old clothes--good condition, but too small for her! Now....does anyone know anything about RSD?  The docs are saying that's possibly what my dad has.  So... I'm afraid to Google it.  You know all the RANDOM crap you get from Google.  I'm afraid some stupid page will say that his leg is going to fall off from it!  LOL  (Ex...

I am so happy! I am typing this on MY computer! My brother-in-law put all my programs back on for me. I have my sister her computer back! I'm loving this! I can put addresses back in my favorites and I don't have to type them in every day! This also means that I will be putting up some pics soon! I have pics of Chasity playing baseball! I have Dance pics! I also have pics of my unicorns to put up...I have someone interested in giving them a home!! (Plus... i"m going to try to get some of my S&P Shakers on here so I can show off some of my favorites!) This also means that you should look for my stuff on eBay soon! Recently (just a minute ago) I visited Avr over at Just to Write . Today she is talking about things we collect. She collects unicorns. So in her comments today, I added my comment: Well... I collect Salt & Pepper shakers. I have been collecting them as long as I can remember. The rule is that they have to be unusual AND I don't buy them for myself! They have to come from other people....My Grandmother has the beginnings of my collection at her house. Some of them date back to WWII. Her uncle sent them here from overseas when he was fighting in WWII. So that is why I started collecting.... HOWEVER... I too have a collection of unicorn stuff. It has been packed up for a couple years now. I have seriously thought about putting it on eBay just to get rid of it. I started collecting those on my 7th bday. A friend gave me one for my bday and I loved it. Then I would see them everywhere. Then it became an obsession for a while! lol Now I think I'm just going to stic...
