The Sky was Split...Right Down the Middle

Wow! I wish I would have had my camera with me yesterday. When I went to pick Chasity up from school, the sky was split. There was almost literally a line in the sky. The left 1/2 was black (looked like tornados could happen at any minute), but the right 1/2 was blue (the prettiest Carolina blue you can imagine).

The sky was like this for almost an hour. As I sat there in the car riders' line waiting to get Chasity from school, I kept looking at it. I really was hoping that it would still be like that when I got home to my camera. However, it was sunny and bright everywhere when we got home.

Sometimes, I think God puts on special shows like that just so we can see that He is there. It was amazing!

Awwww...I wish you'd had your camera also. Sometimes when we see amazing sunsets, we say that God is painting with watercolors. :)

My Goodie Box!

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap! Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways.
