As if I don't have enough to do...

Yesterday and today have been Snow Days (#3 and #4) for Cabarrus County Schools. Chasity has been out of school for 4 days now....Saturday-Today! She's not hating the snow at all! HOWEVER.... I just found out that CCS is planning to do the make-up day for yesterday on Saturday.

As if I don't have enough to do, Chasity is now going to have school on Saturday...probably just in the morning, but that's bad enough. She's had perfect attendance so far this year, so I have no plans of keeping her out of school.

Chasity also has dance pictures on Saturday morning. So I am going to have to call the studio to find out what they are going to do about the pictures. I am hoping they are going to rearrange the schedule because she's not the only one that will have school that day.

Emotional Easter

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways. However, I have decided that I want to start saving now! So.... here's my plan. It's really really hard....just kidding! The only thing I need to know is this.....Does Wal-Mart still match prices? My Strange Collection--But Not Strange to Me!

Recently (just a minute ago) I visited Avr over at Just to Write . Today she is talking about things we collect. She collects unicorns. So in her comments today, I added my comment: Well... I collect Salt & Pepper shakers. I have been collecting them as long as I can remember. The rule is that they have to be unusual AND I don't buy them for myself! They have to come from other people....My Grandmother has the beginnings of my collection at her house. Some of them date back to WWII. Her uncle sent them here from overseas when he was fighting in WWII. So that is why I started collecting.... HOWEVER... I too have a collection of unicorn stuff. It has been packed up for a couple years now. I have seriously thought about putting it on eBay just to get rid of it. I started collecting those on my 7th bday.
