Weddings

I absolutely love weddings.

Last year I helped plan my "baby" sister's wedding. It was amazing! She was so beautiful!

Tomorrow, I get to see one of my best friends get married. I can honestly say that I have never been to a Sunday wedding before. I have attended outdoor weddings, hotel weddings, church weddings, but I have never been to a Sunday wedding....anywhere!

I was REALLY surprised when I got the invite. I didn't know that she was dating anyone. So getting a wedding invitation really threw me for a loop! I screamed "Ohmigosh! Ginger is getting married!" I almost cried! I called my mom! I called my sister!

Three days later I called the bride's mom to reply for my entire family! :) It was AWESOME! We talked for awhile about everything.

Ginger is now living about 1/2 hour away from me.....instead of the two hours she was living before. Right now, she's staying with her soon-to-be mother-in-law. After tomorrow, she's going to move to her new hubby's house! I'm so excited for her! They have been together for a little over a year now! They started dating right after my sister's wedding last July. (NO! I don't know the guy!)

I'm just excited for her! I have to be sure to take my camera to get lots of pics! I know she's going to be beautiful!

Emotional Easter

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways. However, I have decided that I want to start saving now! So.... here's my plan. It's really really hard....just kidding! The only thing I need to know is this.....Does Wal-Mart still match prices? My Strange Collection--But Not Strange to Me!

Recently (just a minute ago) I visited Avr over at Just to Write . Today she is talking about things we collect. She collects unicorns. So in her comments today, I added my comment: Well... I collect Salt & Pepper shakers. I have been collecting them as long as I can remember. The rule is that they have to be unusual AND I don't buy them for myself! They have to come from other people....My Grandmother has the beginnings of my collection at her house. Some of them date back to WWII. Her uncle sent them here from overseas when he was fighting in WWII. So that is why I started collecting.... HOWEVER... I too have a collection of unicorn stuff. It has been packed up for a couple years now. I have seriously thought about putting it on eBay just to get rid of it. I started collecting those on my 7th bday.
