Bitter Sweet

Today is bitter sweet for me.

Today would have been my last day as a student teacher.

Today would have been the day that I submitted for my NC Teaching License.

Today would have been the day that I could have called all the people I talked to in February at the Education Job Fair to let them know I was ready for a job.

Today would have been the day that I could say that I succeed.

However.....

Today is the day that I'm meeting with another Girl Scout leader to plan a camping trip for June.

Today is the day I'm looking for deals online for our summer vacation.

Today is the day I get to do a couple more loads of laundry.

Today is the day I get to think about the reason that I didn't complete my student teaching this semester.

Today is the day I get to miss my Grandmother again.

Today, I get to work on forgiving myself for being so mad (at me) for not finishing school this semester.

Most of all....

Today is the day that God reminded me that He has everything under control if I'll just be patient and wait.

So...

Today is the day I'll work on patience.....and wait on God to do what He has promised to do.

Emotional Easter

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways. However, I have decided that I want to start saving now! So.... here's my plan. It's really really hard....just kidding! The only thing I need to know is this.....Does Wal-Mart still match prices? My Goodie Box!

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap! These are my goodies as they came out of the box.....weren't they wrapped cutely? I loved the paper Lisa used to wrap it. These are my goodies AFTER I unwrapped them!
