Homecoming!!

DADDY IS COMING HOME!

Thursday he was in Intermediate care for the night.

Friday he was moved to a post-surgical room, but he wasn't eating much.

Saturday he ran a fever most of the day.

Sunday he waited on the docs to send him home, but he had not been up and around much. AND... he still wasn't eating much.

Monday he was very sick, throwing up, all day.

Tuesday he didn't throw up, but he still wasn't eating much. So they kept him again last night.

Wednesday--TODAY--he has been talking all day. He has eaten more today than he did the other 6 days he was there. He has been up and walking a few times already. AND...the doctor came in and said...

"(DADDY) you can sleep at home tonight!" (Nope...Doc didn't call him Daddy, but *I* did!)

Can I get a PRAISE THE LORD?

I believe in prayer! Prayer works!

Daddy is coming home tonight!

Emotional Easter

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. However, my feelings got hurt, and so I have a right to write about it! :) Right? I'm not trying to hurt anyone with this, I'm just trying to sort things out in my brain. My Goodie Box!

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap! These are my goodies as they came out of the box.....weren't they wrapped cutely? I loved the paper Lisa used to wrap it. These are my goodies AFTER I unwrapped them! My Strange Collection--But Not Strange to Me!

Recently (just a minute ago) I visited Avr over at Just to Write . Today she is talking about things we collect. She collects unicorns. So in her comments today, I added my comment: Well... I collect Salt & Pepper shakers. I have been collecting them as long as I can remember. The rule is that they have to be unusual AND I don't buy them for myself! They have to come from other people....My Grandmother has the beginnings of my collection at her house. Some of them date back to WWII. Her uncle sent them here from overseas when he was fighting in WWII. So that is why I started collecting.... HOWEVER... I too have a collection of unicorn stuff. It has been packed up for a couple years now. I have seriously thought about putting it on eBay just to get rid of it. I started collecting those on my 7th bday. A friend gave me one for my bday and I loved it. Then I would see them everywhere. Then it became an obsession for a while! lol Now I think I'm just going to stic
