Traveling

Last night, after returning movies we rented earlier in the week, going to see my parents one last time, and everything else that has to be done to get ready to leave, we left around 9pm.

 

I drove for the first hour.  We stopped at Wendy’s (in some SC town) to get something to eat.  When we parked long enough to check the food (they got it right!) we switched drivers.

 

Tony is having some issues with his eye (a post coming soon!).  So he could only drive for about an hour. 

 

We ended up staying in Blythewood, SC for the night.  GPS says we have about 3 and 1/2 hours to Hilton Head.

 

So, we are up, eating, and getting ready to load up.

WARNING: This post is going to be REALLY long. Don't say you weren't warned! This is the post I have tried to convince myself not to write so that no one's feelings get hurt. Saving Money

Tony and I have always WANTED to save money. However, when we got married, we didn't start right away. Then two years later, Chasity was born. Then it was almost IMPOSSIBLE! Now, we've been married for 9 years, and we have VERY LITTLE actually saved. It seems like every time we get a little saved, something has to be fixed.... usually the car! lol It does need work now, but we're waiting.... but I don't think we can wait long. We know that when I actually get a teaching job, we'll be able to save about 1/3 (maybe more) of my paycheck every month....since we've been living for almost 4 years on just Tony's check anyways. However, I have decided that I want to start saving now! So.... here's my plan. It's really really hard....just kidding! The only thing I need to know is this.....Does Wal-Mart still match prices? My Goodie Box!

Recently, I participated in a swap over at Dandelion Wishes by Mamarazzi! My partner was Lisa from Like a Valentine ! This was awesome. I was so excited the whole time putting stuff together for my partner. Then I was like a kid at Christmas when I got my package from Lisa. There are some simple rules to the swap.... check out the next one that she does! Anyways... one of the rules is that you take pics and make a post about the goodies that you received. So.... I know these pics and some of the info are repeats from what I did in my 100th post, but I needed a separate post..... just for the swap!
